About us

We are OmuSapiens, a Multimedia Engineering team from Alicante University in our last year here, which brings us the opportunity to develop a group project based on PBL methodology. In the PBL, Project Based Learning, students take care of their own learning investing and finding the necessary information to develop the project, while teachers have the role of guide.
Our project proposal is Omu, keep reading to know more details.

Our project: Omu

Omu is a web application of online calls and video calls . Nowadays, accessibility in technology is very important, which is why we have decided to include an added value to the platform, a virtual interpreter for deaf people . What is achieved is sign , sign language the conversation in real time with our sign engine and the signs will be visualized through a 3D animation created by our equipment.
